Years ago, Mohandas Gandhi advocated simplicity as a path toward contentment and happiness. Many other wise souls have shared a similar message. Whenever I feel scattered, rushed or overwhelmed, I remind myself this timeless wisdom. I ask myself, "Is all this rushing around" really worth it? Is it leading me to where I want to be? The answer, every time, is a resounding "no." The simple act of asking the right questions acts as a catalyst to calming my mind and putting me back on track.
