I'll send a card on your birthday, but remember when my birthday comes. More subtly, we may serve others, expecting to feel bolstered by their praise or . By keeping score, we live in separation, diminishment, fear, pain and pressure. So try this experiment: Reach out where you are moved to do so, expecting nothing in return.
