There's an ancient Buddhist story about a man who slips and starts to fall down a cliff. Grabbing every root and leaf and branch that he can, he looks down and realizes there's nothing between him and the rocks 500 feet below. The fragile roots he's clinging to can't hold him for long. And as the roots begin to pull away from the cliff, the man notices a strawberry growing out from one little vine. With one hand, he reaches over and takes the strawberry and savors its sweetness. The Buddhists are telling us that even in the most dire circumstance of your life, sweetness exists. What sweetness may be within your grasp at this moment?
