The disciples who traveled with Jesus noticed that he seemed to interrupt the day's schedule at a seeming whim. Jesus would pause to talk to society's outcasts, the poor, the prostitutes and the criminals. In time, they saw that Jesus was answering a calling higher than that of a set itinerary. He was willing to be interrupted to honor the prompting and signals from God. If we don't allow God's interruptions, we're going to miss out on our greatest guidance.
