Spiritual drift doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't happen like a blow to the head. Spiritual drift results when we make small, continuous moves out of alignment with our true nature. We drift away from God in our thinking. Yet when we have thoughts and actions out of alignment with our nature, which is goodness, we don't feel right. There's unrest, and we begin to honor that inner nudge that prompts, pulls us, back to God. We can frame and form our lives so that every mistake can be turned into good.
