Observing with love shifts things. In our Bible, we read, "God is love." God is love, so I cannot be close to God if I'm seeing with condemnation or with judgment. I can be close to God if I'm seeing with love. And we ask for help in doing that. We can't do it on our own, but with help, God's help, we can.
