None of us can make the decision: "I'm going to live the rest of my life closer to God." The commitment feels too huge. But we can make a decision for God each day. Just as each morning, we choose not to leave the house before combing our hair or brushing our teeth, we can make the decision to connect with God. We can begin every day close to our Creator. And that choice will shine light into our entire day.
