Marcus Aurelius once said, the impediment to action advances action, what stands in the way, becomes the way. Life isn't hard because something's wrong. Life is hard because that's how it's designed to be. Every challenge, every setback, every moment of struggle. It's not blocking your path, it's the path. Your muscles don't grow unless you push them to your limit. Your mind doesn't sharpen until you tested it. Your character doesn't develop unless it's shaped by adversity or brains form stronger neural pathways when we work through our difficulties, not when things are easy. So when life feels unbearable, it's not a sign to stop. It's an invitation to rise to that, to become the person you are meant to be. Hardship isn't the enemy, it's the teacher, and if you embrace it, it will lead you exactly where you're meant to go. The question isn't, why is life so hard? The question is, who will I become because of Marcus Aurelius?
