Make light of being overwhelmed. Despite our best efforts, sometimes life is just overwhelming, filled with one little annoyance and uncontrollable event upon another. It's easy in these times to let our reaction spiral take over, leaving us feeling burdened and stressed. Instead of choosing this path, try something else. The best medicine for these moments (for they are just passing moments) is to start laughing. Laugh till your sides hurt. Share the ridiculousness of the moment with others, and you'll be sharing the lightness with them!
