It is said that until you have a personal center, you are just a mechanical device. Circumstances push our buttons; if something good happens, we're happy; if something bad happens, we're angry or sad. We can respond or develop a center that allows us to choose our response. When we choose how to respond, we no longer automatically follow old patterns. Instead we begin to ask: "What would love do here?" and we follow that leading.
