If you had a car outfitted for the Indy 500, would you fill it with low-octane fuel and recycled oil? If you thought you had a shot at winning the Boston Marathon, would you subsist on a diet of Twinkies? Of course not. What you put in a car determines its performance. What you put in your body affects its health. Yet we often ignore what we're putting into something even more powerful, and that is our minds. We fill our minds with the junk food of gossip, fear, anxiety or television. In Proverbs, we read: "As a man thinketh in his own heart, so is he." Think kind thoughts. Fill your mind with love. Empower your life by empowering your mind to the highest possible thought.
