If more were actually better, we would live in the happiest, most satisfied culture of all time. But we don't. Not even close. It's not that having more is bad in itself, it's that the desire to have more and more and more is insatiable. As long as you think that more is better, you'll never be satisfied. Don't allow your happiness to be contingent on getting more. Learn to be happy with what you have at this present moment, and appreciate the blessings of what you already have. As new accomplishments, possessions, people, enter your life, your level of appreciation will be heightened, and you will always feel contented.
