I once saw a cartoon in which a big muscular guy at a fair whacks a 500-pound steel ball with a mallet. But every time he hits it, the ball doesn't move. Instead, he gets thrown backward, until he finally gives up. Then a little girl steps up to the ball and touches it ever so slightly. Then she presses it just a bit more, and the ball does what is natural, it begins to swing back and forth. The ball works on her behalf, not because she's strong and powerful and can do it on her own, but because she works with the momentum of the pendulum swing, a law of the universe. You and I are invited to work with this great power and let it show what can happen in our lives. The doorway to our own miracles is provided. We do what is natural and move forward.
