Excessive worry robs us of the gift of life, because we're always fretting, "What if this happens? What if that happens?" The Apostle Paul advised, "Do not be anxious about anything," because he knew that the gift of life - the sheer sense of aliveness - can only be felt in the moment, and no matter how dire our circumstances may seem, the peace that gratitude for life provides is always available.
