A little boy named Jimmy Taylor who had entered the 100 yard dash at the Special Olympics kept telling his dad, "I'm going to win today." Jimmy's father, concerned because of his son's many disabilities, told him just to do his best. Shortly after the race began, one of the other runners stumbled and fell. Jimmy immediately stopped to comfort the fallen runner. Then one by one, the other athletes joined them, and the children, arms linked, crossed the finish line as one. On the way home from the race, Jimmy said to his dad, "I told you I would win!" Jimmy's triumph didn't come from athletic training. His behavior wasn't taught by his coach. It came from his heart. Where might your own heart lead you today?
